| Connecticut Ashforth developed Greenwich Plaza, a 316,000 square foot complex of offices, retail stores and theaters at the Greenwich, Connecticut railroad station in 1970. Greenwich Plaza is a recipient of the 2001 Connecticut BOMA Building of the Year Award. Ashforth, in partnership with General Electric Capital Corporation, developed Stamford Square, a 282,000 square foot office building located in Stamford, Connecticut, in 1980. Ashforth purchased 707 Summer Street, Stamford, Connecticut in December 2001 for its new corporate headquarters location, and implemented a $2 million capital improvements program including lobby, restrooms, electrostatic air-filtration system, a state-of-the-art security system and electronic surveillance system. 707 Summer Street received the 2005 Earth Award from BOMA.
