Ashforth’s
West Coast affiliate was formed in 1995 and is charged with
expanding the West Coast operations. In September 1995, Ashforth
purchased 20 acres, in downtown Portland, Oregon’s Lloyd
District, consisting of 600,000 square feet of prime office
space, in six buildings and several future development sites.
In
1997, Ashforth, in partnership with Liberty Northwest Insurance
Corporation, developed Liberty Centre, a 17-story, 285,000
square foot office tower in Portland, Oregon. Liberty Centre
is a recipient of the 2001 NW Region BOMA Building of the Year
Award.
