8 Sound Shore Drive, located in Greenwich, CT, will be honored
tonight with a prestigious TOBY (The Office Building of the Year)
award by Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Building Owner & Managers
Association (BOMA). The award will be given in the category
that includes buildings under 100,000 square feet in size.
The
TOBY is awarded on the basis of building management staffing,
tenant services, amenities, community involvement and building
presentation. 8 Sound Shore Drive is a 73,000 square foot,
class A commercial office facility overlooking Long Island Sound. Situated
on 2.4 beautifully landscaped acres the property is directly across
from the Cos Cob rail station and close to I-95, downtown Greenwich
and the Westchester County Airport.
In
December of 2004, 8 Sound Shore Associates, LLC, with principle
owner, William H. Nickerson of Greenwich selected Ashforth to
manage the facility. Nickerson will attend the event along with
Ashforth’s
team. Currently 8 Sound Shore Drive is 100 percent leased with
Littlejohn & Company, HSBC Bank USA, Royce & Associates,
and Brynwood Partners IV LP as major tenants
