Ashforth has signed a new lease at its 707 Summer Street property in Stamford, CT. This 7,651-square-foot lease with Robert H. Schaffer & Associates, LLC (RHS&A) brings the building’s occupancy level to 97 percent. RHS&A, a 50-year-old management consulting firm will move in the beginning of August from its current location at 30 Oak Street in Stamford.

“As a firm with clients around the world, we are excited to be moving into the Ashforth building in the core of downtown. We have been here in Stamford for 50 years, and look forward to 50 more,” said Matthew McCreight, Co-Managing Partner of RHS&A.

“We are thrilled to have a prestigious firm like RHS&A select 707 as its new headquarter location. Attracting a quality tenant like RHS&A, particularly in this current competitive market environment, is a testament to the quality of 707 Summer Street and the high level of management services provided by our management services division. We believe 707 is the best value option in the downtown Stamford market,” said Richard Battista, executive vice president for The Ashforth Company.

The Ashforth Company acquired 707, a 74,000-square-foot office building, in December 2001 and, after completing extensive improvements to the building totaling $2.5 million, moved its headquarters to 707 from its other owned property in Stamford, Stamford Square, located at 3001/3003 Summer Street. Renovations included a new lobby, elevators, common areas, restrooms, landscaping, electrostatic air-filtration system, a state-of-the-art security system and electronic surveillance system. Ashforth’s construction division – A.P. Construction Company and its management services division – Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. are also located at 707 Summer Street.
